During my time at SAP, I worked on two design teams, tackling complex, real-world projects that directly impacted SAP’s customers and internal workflows:

Key projects

Merging new features into SAP Analytics Cloud

Challenge:
Integrating JustAsk, an AI-powered natural language tool, into SAP Analytics Cloud without disrupting existing workflows.

My role & approach:

  • Designed the branding & UI using the SAP Design Library to ensure consistency.
  • Resolved UX challenges to seamlessly integrate JustAsk within existing SAC features.
  • Explored future use cases to ensure scalability.

Impact:
JustAsk will be part of an upcoming release, enabling customers to derive insights faster through natural language queries.

Shaping 'Presentation Mode' experience

Challenge:
The previous presentation workflow was fragmented and complex, requiring users to navigate separate SAP analytics platforms to start creating a presentation. This, combined with technical constraints and highly specific user pain points, made the process frustrating and inefficient.

My role & approach:

  • Conducted user research & customer interviews to deeply understand niche pain points
  • Worked with the product team to prioritize high-impact features.
  • Designed an improved, streamlined workflow, ensuring better integrations across SAP platforms.

Impact:
The redesigned experience eliminated unnecessary steps, reduced cognitive load, and made it easier for customers to create and present data-driven insights seamlessly. This work contributed to what is now released as SAP Unified Story Experience.

Standardizing cross-product survey

Challenge:
SAP needed a unified survey experience across multiple products to gather consistent user feedback.

My role & approach:

  • Conducted UX research to harmonize survey experiences across six different SAP products under the SAP Business Technology Platform umbrella.
  • Collaborated with product managers & design teams to align survey designs with SAP’s design libraries.

Impact:
Improved SAP’s ability to collect actionable user insights across multiple products, streamlining decision-making and enhancing customer experience.

Growing as a designer

Working at SAP was a turning point in my career—I gained confidence, independence, and the ability to navigate complex design challenges. From prototyping to cross-team collaboration, I refined my skills while working alongside talented colleagues, managers, and mentors who continuously pushed me to grow.
